How to make Fried Chicken Crispy

Hi guys. Welcome to the Food Recipes. Today we are going to see how to make spicy chicken crispy and juicy fried chicken at an ease in such a way that the skin is extremely crunchy, but the white meat is relatively soft.

Fried Chicken Crispy is a standard Non-vegetarian dish in the Cantonese Cuisine of Southern China and Hong Kong. Now a days chicken crispy is most famous dish of every foodies whether its Chines, Indian, Russian or from any country in the globe.

Following are the ingredients required for the chicken crispy

  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Fresh chicken (8 pieces for 2 Persons)
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • One tbsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1½ tbsp. baking powder
  • ½ tbsp. lemon juice
  • Salad as per your choice

First Step: The first step is to ferment the chicken for overnight or two to three hours. For fermentation, take a big bowl and put the chicken pieces (around 8 pieces) and pour the 2 big cups buttermilk in it. For making more juicy and soft left the chicken in buttermilk overnight.

Second Step: After fermentation, the second step is to coat the chicken into all purpose flour for the needed crisp. Before that take a bowl and mix the all purpose flour, baking powder, garlic powder, pepper powder and salt together. Mix it up this all ingredients together. Now coat all the marinade pieces into this mixture well.

Chicken crispy deep oil fryThird Step: This is the final step of cooking for chicken crispy and crunchy. Take a frying pan and pour the vegetable oil for deep frying. Make sure that oil should be as much as needed to deep fry the chicken well. Heat the oil on medium–high flame, the temperature of oil should be between 350°F and 375°F. Now, fry the chicken pieces at a time so that the oil doesn’t cool down.

Fry it till the chicken doesn’t change its color into brown i.e. it will require 10 to 15 minutes to fry. After it done with frying, drain the chicken pieces on a wire rack or a plate to maintain the crispiness of the chicken.
